My family and I decided to stop by here and my mother was raving about their taquitos al vapor. Which isn't found in San Antonio so naturally I got excited. The interior is nice and decorative and the servers are very friendly. My family and i were immediately seated and greeted and found ourselves being given some chips and salsa. The chips at this little spot were delicious. I don't know what they do differently than the chips found at your standard Mexican restaurants but it works.  The salsa(s) though not unbearable like I like it, were tasty and able to put the little bit of zing on my tongue.

I ordered the taquitos al vapor and decided to roll with the potato and de cebrada (shredded beef) tacos. I wasn't disappointed and I instantly felt as if I was back in little ole Mexico. I haven't had tacos like these in about ten years and being able to eat them again was nostalgic to say the least. I definitely would recommend this place given the quality, friendliness, and will make you feel as if you're back in grandmas kitchen.
    Cheers!

I came here for a late lunch with my family on a Saturday.

The place is okay but not fancy.  It was clean.  About like the typical Mexican restaurant in San Antonio.  Which is perfectly fine.

It was a little warm at first but then another employee came in and turned on the AC.

The food was good.  We liked the burritos, tortas and mini tacos.  We had an order of fries with chili and bacon but had to ask for more cheese because there was barely any on them.

They have a red and green salsa.  Both were excellent.

    The sweat tea was okay.

Prices seemed fair for what we got.

    I will go back.

One of my favorite places! The food is delicious , the staff is friendly & welcoming. It's a homey feeling the moment you walk in. The owner always greets you with a smile on her face and like she knows you forever.

Service was quick, but not all that enthusiastic. The food was mediocre. I've definitely had better. We ordered fresh agua, which was not natural. We asked and the waitress said they were made with real fruit. Probably will not be visiting again.
